There are two scenarios for rescheduling appointments. The first is Moving an appointment within the same day. The second scenario involves rescheduling an appointment to another day. This second scenario also includes moving an appointment from one provider to another. Knowing the two processes can save the CA time and effort.

  1. Moving an Appointment: ‘moving’ only works within the same day (Ex: from morning to afternoon)
  1. Reschedule an Appointment: to reschedule to another day or provider you have two options
    1. Find the Patient profile and right click on the specific appointment in the patients Appointment Ledger – this will open a menu, choose RESCHEDULE from the menu
    2. OR right click on the specific appointment on the schedule to access the same menu

Depending on your configuration, Atlas may display the Rescheduled Appointments in the patient Appointment Ledger, highlighted in a different color.
