There are three main types of PitStop Messages. Each one achieves the same result – that is alerting the Front
Desk and/or Patient with a specific message – but each one performs that duty in different ways. Some
PitStops are triggered automatically in the system – program them and they trigger when a specific event
occurs (a Patient arrives for a Re-Exam, as an example). Other types of PitStop messages can be configured ‘on
the fly’ (personal reminders). And still others can be configured to notify the Provider, at the VTC, about
something specific. The next sections will describe each PitStop Type.
