If
you attempt to mark a day as Holiday or Vacation, that already has
patients scheduled, Atlas will display a warning message alerting you to
reschedule those appointments. Appointments remain on the schedule
until action is taken to move them.
To navigate to the Exception Hours screen – see the menu image above in Holidays.
Exception Hours allow you to create time slots on the daily schedule not available by the default Provider Hours setup. This could be for a clinic closing early one day or opening on a Saturday morning to accommodate overflow patients from the week. Exception Hours are Provider Specific.
