If you attempt to mark a day as Holiday or Vacation, that already has patients scheduled, Atlas will display a warning message alerting you to reschedule those appointments. Appointments remain on the schedule until action is taken to move them.

Holidays mark a specific day on the schedule for all Providers in the software. A day marked ‘holiday’ will not allow Appointments to be scheduled. As such, they are beneficial to clinics with multiple Providers to quickly lock a day on the schedule.

  1. Use ADD to create a new Holiday listing – Enter Holiday name and click in the DATE column to choose date from popup calendar.
  2. Use EDIT to change an existing Holiday
  3. Use EXIT to save changes



NOTE: If you try to schedule a holiday on a day that already has patients booked for appointments, Atlas will have a warning message pop up and offer to generate a report of the patients' appointments affected so that you can reschedule those appointments.
